2/2. The 1819 view is by Augustus Charles Pugin, artist, draughtsman and father of Augustus Welby Pugin (leading light of 19th century Gothic Revival architecture). This print, and others, are in the excellent 'Our Islington' exhibition at the Islington Museum on St John Street.

Thank you to all who came to the opening last night of Our Islington! An exhibition that celebrates local art by well-known and unknown artists in Islington. The exhibition is now open to everyone, Monday - Saturday, from 10am (the Museum is closed on Wednesdays).

'Lloyd's Dairy Amwell Street' by Geoffrey Fletcher, 1971, and the same view now. The shop is now vintage/mid-century furniture seller 1963etc. The painting, and others by Fletcher, is currently in the 'Our Islington' exhibition at the Islington Museum #Clerkenwell #Islington #EC1
