We hope everyone has been keeping safe and has had a great start to the Fall semester! ISPE-McGill has a new Exec team for the 2020-21 academic year and is planning some exciting events. Be on the lookout for our announcements!

Meet our Family Med Rep, Mahya Khaki! Mahya is an MD and an MSc student at the Department of Family Medicine. Her research interest focuses on cardiovascular disease risk assessment and treatment. She plans to extend her work to the clinical pharmacology of cardiovascular drugs.

Kyle Johnson is our Epi Student Rep! Kyle is a 2nd year PhD Epi student and is interested in pharmacoepidemiology, with a focus on neurological outcomes such as dementia. He is currently supervised by Drs. Christel Renoux and Robert Platt

Samia Qureshi is our Treasurer! She is a 3rd year PhD student in Epidemiology with interests in health services research for cancer, with a particular focus on social inequalities. She seeks to understand the real-world application of new therapies to treat advanced lung cancer.

Meet @MasarwaReem, our Secretary! Reem is a postdoctoral fellow in Pediatric Pharmacoepidemiology, supervised by Kristian Filion and Robert Platt. Her research focuses on the utilization and safety of various drug classes in children and adolescents.
