This #TransDayOfVisibility, we’re celebrating the work of Ita Segev, an anti-Zionist Israeli performance artist, actor, and writer living in New York. Ita’s art and writing explores the relationship between her trans womanhood and anti-Zionist Israeli identities.

Ita is also dedicated to organizing queer and trans Jews and drawing connections between queer issues and Palestinian liberation. As a BDS supporter, she has revealed toxic ties between the Israeli and American medical industrial complexes that play out in trans people's bodies.
