I’ve said that mainstream sports commentary, at least what I see, gives no or at best paltry time to MLB. WNBA gets more time. Now I see that so does pro wrestling. If this is due to ratings, then something’s out of whack. If not that, then what? Financially MLB is thriving.

Good to hear. I’ve gone back and forth on capital punishment. Contra was the possibility of error. With DNA evidence, this problem is mitigated. The social and symbolic worth of capital punishment in a narrow band of deserving cases has always been a strong point pro for me.
