At the @RTPIScotland conference Public Finance Minister Ivan McKee MSP met students and thanked planners for supporting economic growth and prosperity and helping communities thrive. He urged a focus on delivery of development to help cut carbon emissions and deliver homes.


Welcomed some clued-up S6 students from St Andrew's Secondary School to Scottish Parliament today. Good discussion after FMQs on child poverty and funding of public services as well as work on local issues specifically affecting Provan.

Public Finance Minister Ivan McKee MSP says an event on Public Service Reform will prove vital in shaping a future reform strategy. The summit at University of Strathclyde was attended by 150 representatives from public bodies, local government, the third sector, and the wider economy.

Had a great visit to Wallacewell Primary School with HarperCollinsUK for their assembly led by author Rob Biddulph. I also had the opportunity to tour Harper Collins impressive new distribution centre in Robroyston.
