Mrs Brown’s Book club has taken off! Let’s make reading fun! Week one, we sat and talked about our favourite author, what sort of book we like to read and what we would like to read in the future. We chose a book from the library to take home. And we designed our own bookmark

In book club this week, Mrs Brown made everyone a bacon sandwich as we filled out our book reviews on what we had previously read. We then went into the library and made “book nook forts” with pillows and blankets and ate our sarnies as we read inside of them!

Reception enjoyed going on a walk around the local area this morning Ivy Road Primary

First week of KS1 book club 📚 We explored the library whilst having milk and cookies. After this we designed our own book covers then talked about the stories we could make and share with our friends. Mrs Brown challenged us to a book quiz and lost, we know our stuff!!!

To help keep our children hydrated on this warm day, we have set up a Hydration Station in the yard for lunchtime.
