JBS was proud to host students selected for the American Meat Science Global Ingenuity program at our headquarters in Greeley, CO. The teams of students not only created a new product but also developed a business plan, marketing strategy and more.

Our Pork business unit employs more than 9,400 team members in six facilities across the United States. The pork team works with more than 5,800 farmers each year, allowing them to offer fresh and value-added pork products to consumers and customers around the world.

Our Cactus, TX, facility recently welcomed the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association for a tour of their facilities. The Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association was able to learn more about the day-to-day operations of JBS to better understand the beef supply chain.

Our Worthington, MN, facility received the 2024 Meat Institute Environmental Achievement Award for Water Conservation. Worthington received the award for a Chloride Source Detection and Management Initiative that led to meaningful reductions at their facility.

To celebrate “Bring Your Kid to Work Day”, we hosted over 50 kiddos at our corporate headquarters in Greeley, CO. Participants heard from business unit leaders, toured our headquarters and participated in several fun activities throughout the day!

Through our #BetterFutures program, 36 team members at our Cactus, TX, facility completed from the Amarillo College public speaking class. Team members participated in the class to grow in confidence when speaking in front of a large group. Congratulations to all graduates!

Our summer interns based in Greeley, CO, recently participated in the Weld County Food Bank’s “Compete to Beat Hunger” event. The group packaged 400 food boxes that will be distributed to local senior citizens in need. Great work, team!

Through our partnership with Colorado State University, we hosted 13 graduate students from the CSU Animal Science program for presentations on their scientific research. Graduate students presented their findings on a variety of topics to our team members.
