Today Duncanville Curriculum & Instruction hosted this year’s first MetroCRESTeducators meeting! We presented on our support of academic discourse through Talk Read Talk Write in response to data from district instructional walks, then we got to collaborate w/ phenomenal RLA leaders from other districts!

Over the past few years, our partnership with Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum has provided phenomenal learning opportunities for the students of Duncanville ISD. I am grateful for the museum and campus staff who work hard to make these experiences possible. Duncanville Curriculum & Instruction

Huge shout-out to the Duncanville High School Eng1 team for rocking the internalization protocol today! Each member came prepared to discuss how the anchor text will be used to model skills, opportunities for academic discourse, & look-fors during aggressive monitoring laps. #teamwork

🌟📚 Learning Beyond the Classroom! Our 8th graders visited the Holocaust Museum, gaining powerful lessons in courage and compassion just before Thanksgiving break. Many thanks to Ms. Foster, our teachers/chaperones, and the museum for this unforgettable experience!💡✨
