Happy #EstuariesWeek! We started the celebration the only way we know how, with the annual JC NERR & RRUMFS Open House! While some flooding brought all the festivities under one roof, the buzz & positive energy, all in the name of celebrating estuaries, was unforgettable! #WadeIn

Monarch butterflies can still be found making their way south to Mexico for the winter. Do your part to help out monarchs by planting native wildflowers (like goldenrod). The most important of these is milkweed & late fall/early winter is the best time of year to plant seeds!
