Excellent news - the Association for New Canadians has been expanding its reach in the last few years - it's vital to support newcomers outside St John's as 2/3 stay on the Avalon Peninsula but the main demographic crisis is in the rest of the province.
That we've had five consecutive quarters of net provincial population growth and (according to figures supplied by Association for New Canadians) 89% of Syrian refugees have remained here are impressive signs of improvement in NL's ability to attract and retain immigrants. vocm.com/2022/06/28/nl-…
