Republicans’ economic plan: 1. Use tariffs to hike up prices on food, appliances, and everyday goods. 2. Give tax handouts to the super rich. 3. Cut health care and nutrition programs Americans rely on. Sounds great for their wealthy donors... & terrible for working families.

The only “winners” of a trade war are Trump’s rich buddies who exchange political favors for protection from tariffs that you end up having to pay.

Whether Trump "guarantees" it or not, the truth is that the tariffs he is threatening WILL raise prices for the American people. That's just a fact.
