We visited Hsu’s Ginseng farm ahead of Wausau’s budget hearing. With over 90% of U.S. ginseng grown here, tariff-driven inflation is hitting farmers hard, and Wisconsin must step up to support our farmers.

We have now begun our last public hearing in Wausau.  We look forward to hearing Wisconsinites share personal stories on how this budget will impact them, their families, and their communities.

Across Wisconsin, we heard people ask for strong schools, affordable child care, housing, and property tax relief. After 15 years of underfunding by the WI GOP and federal chaos under Trump, Governor Tony Evers’ budget meets the moment, delivering a positive way forward for Wisconsin.

Republicans just released their plan to gut Governor Tony Evers budget so they can deliver a tax cut to their ultra wealthy donors. We will fight back, and push for a budget that brings stability and lowers costs for all Wisconsinites.

After selflessly serving our country, our veterans deserve to be supported. Yet, the GOP have just removed essential funding and supports including property tax relief for disabled veterans.

Legislative Republicans don’t care about you, they only care about the wealthy few. And here’s 612 reasons why:

Republicans on the Joint Finance Committee cut the “Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids” program from Governor Tony Evers’ budget, which would have saved working families $1800 on their groceries every school year. That’s ridiculous. Rep. Tip McGuire

With the DC GOP working to cut Medicaid and SNAP, we have an obligation to step in and support our people.  Instead, the WIGOP Majority is working behind the scenes to deliver a tax cut to their wealthy donors, paid for by further cuts to the services Wisconsinites rely on.

.Governor Tony Evers delivered $10M for workforce training across Wisconsin. Now imagine what we could do if Republicans hadn’t blocked the rest of his plan. With paid leave, apprenticeships, and local training grants, we could be leading the country in worker readiness.

Republicans are running back into the arms of the Governor after extremist members of their party were unwilling to compromise on the state budget. If they can’t find reasonable members on their side, our doors are always open. We just hope they decide before it's too late.

It’s good having a governor who gets it. Child care is how we keep our workforce moving and our families supported.

After weeks of delays, WIGOP wrapped w/out expanding postpartum care or sufficiently funding long-term care. But thanks to Governor Tony Evers, we did secure $330M for childcare & the largest special ed investment in WI history. Still, it's not enough, & the fight is far from over.
