This afternoon, First Lady Maria Lee and I joined Penny Schwinn and Metro Schools Director Dr. Battle to visit with students at JuliaGreenElementary. Julia Green Elementary School is one of seven TN schools to be recognized as a 2020 National Blue Ribbon school by U.S. Department of Education.

Today, Penny Schwinn visited two of TN's 7 Blue Ribbon schools, Holy Rosary Academy & JuliaGreenElementary, w/ Gov. Bill Lee & First Lady Maria Lee, at the second visit. Each of these school communities prioritize quality teaching and learning every day. Thank you for putting students on a path to success.
