P3 have been learning about the reading strategy visualisation. We used chapter 4 of our novel to help us.

P3g have been playing different games to help them learn the 3 times table.

P4a & P4b were invited to watch P6 & P7 play percussion! They were amazing and have clearly been working hard. P4 were a great audience too!

P4b have been researching Famous Scots, creating a timeline in chronological order.

As part of our toys topic, P1a played some games this afternoon. We had to make sure we followed the rules and took turns to show our school values of being kind and respected.

P5a have been answering comprehension questions about ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. This week we looked at the Inventing Room.

For Health & Wellbeing, P5b have been discussing our online identify and creating an avatar to represent ourselves.

P6a have been working alongside P3 to find out about Barn Owls. We helped them do their research and make a poster.

P6b have been working hard to calculate the MEAN (average) of a series of numbers.

P5a have been learning about the circulatory system. We made our own model hearts.

P1 had a fun filled day at Calderglen today! We had the best time at the play park 🤩🛝

P1 also visited the Calderglen Zoo and saw lots of animals including some meerkats, monkeys, coatis, wallabies and rabbits.

P7b have been completing shape and number challenges in maths.

P4-7g have been using their knowledge on description to describe their own mythical animal.

P1a have been exploring non-fiction books. We had to use the text to label a picture. We also created a new front cover for a non-fiction book.

P2/1 have been learning to add ‘s’ and ‘es’ to make words plural.

Primary 2 have been talking about what they have been up to at the weekend.

P3/2 had fun using the calculators to work out what words the answers made when we turned them upside down.

Our annual Staff v Pupil sports match took place today! A very competitive game of handball was played in the playground with Miss Baldie acting as our referee. The final score was 7-4 to the staff! 🏆
