Last working day of the year! I can’t believe I ended it living by the shipbuilding water with nearby beaches galore 😍 2024 was life-changing - I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store!

Christmas holiday reading. I have given up on Wolf Hall after many attempts, but giving The Mirror and the Light a go after loving the recent TV series.

Farewell, then, to this app that I loved so much. All the good folk are going and I’ve had no engagement for weeks 😔 If you’re on Insta and I don’t follow you let me know.

So very sorry to read this. I had the privilege of interviewing Morag during YLG Committee conference 2021 and her knowledge of children’s reading development was outstanding.

A final thought before the year’s out: I just worked out that if I’d bought all the library books I’ve read this year it would have cost me £798. So, you know, use your library 🙂

Hello🙋🏻‍♀️ I’ve missed my lovely library community. Please tell me, for a thing, your saints and sinners of the library world? Can be real, historical, or fictional.
