A recent study found that women undergoing cardiac surgery show reduced CD39/CD73 expression and greater #fibrosis. Using a #CD39 mimetic and #CD73 enhancer improved cardiac function and reduced fibrosis in an ovariectomy + high-fat diet mouse model. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

A fantastic start to the conference, welcomed by traditional Japanese music, before hearing from this years' ISHR awardees. ISHR European Section ISHR Australasian Section ISHR North American Section ISHR International ECI Committee
