A new sculpture called the Arch of Time is coming to Mason Park on Houston’s East End, and it’s not your average piece of public art. This $20M installation isn’t just art—it’s a solar-powered sundial, community pavilion, and energy generator.

Fallen firefighter Marcelo “Ox” Garcia was a pillar of Houston’s East End. He was a lifelong public servant—whether on-duty with Houston Fire Dept or off-duty giving back to his native #MagnoliaPark. Today we honored him, his family and his Station 23 brothers. May he rest in peace.
