A big congratulations to Dr. Conor Sharp on successfully defending his dissertation! His research focused on understanding adsorption, diffusion, and reaction dynamics of chemical warfare agent simulants with metal-organic frameworks. Murray recognizes a degree well earned.

Great poster presentations today from undergraduates Anna Falls and Chris Stoll on their research! Anna has been studying metal-support interactions on supported metal nanoparticles and Chris has been studying catalysis on similar materials to decompose chemical warfare agents.

We welcome Mikaela Boyanich to the Morris Group! Mikaela joins us from Temple University where she earned a B.S. in Chemistry. Her main project will involve discovering new chemistries for the uptake and destruction of chemical warfare agents using metal-organic frameworks.
