It was a great first day at J.N. Fries STEM. We loved having students in the building and meeting lots of new friends. #WeAreFries

So blessed to work in a district who actively supports their schools. From early morning messages to district leaders stopping by, J.N. Fries STEM felt the love on our first day!

Our 8th grade math students engaged in a review of shapes on day 2. There may have been a little competition involved as well. #WeAreFries

STEM challenges are a part of our weekly Knight Time schedule. Our students were big fans this week! We loved watching all our Fries students collaborating.

A 6th grade hangout seemed like the perfect way yo end the first week of school. Our 6th graders seemed to enjoy themselves.

Our 8th graders have been building bots for a week. Then we raced.

Our staff members heard from Assistant Principal, Micah Thompson about the importance of relationships between teachers and students, teachers and parents and teachers and teachers. Relationships matter. #WeAreFries

We added another feather to our cap today. So proud of our staff for embedding STEM in everything we do as evidenced by our STEM School of Distinction recognition.

Mr. Ford, the second principal at J.N. Fries, came to our Quarter 1 celebration this week to see his grandson. It was so fun to hear stories from when the school first opened. Thank you Mr. Ford for your dedication to creating the Knight legacy!

We want to end October with a pink out day in honor of breast cancer awareness month. All students and staff please wear pink to show your support tomorrow, October 31, 2024!

March 6th from 6-7:30 PM JN Fries will host our Newest Knights event. This event is for students who will be new to JN Fries for the 2025-2026 school year. ​New students can ​visit the building, learn about STEM in middle school, and review options for ​Encore classes.

High school registration day is March 3, 2025. Wear your high school colors!

What: Incoming 6th Grade Instrument Fitting & Rental Night Who: Incoming 6th Graders will come to try out different instruments to see what instrument works best for them and potentially rent an instrument through Music & Arts When: 6:30-7:30pm on April 24th Where: JNF Band Room
