We had a great day at The JQ Festival! Thanks to everyone who stopped by in the School of Jewellery. A lot of you were interested in our books & the plan of Warstone Lane catacombs; as it explained the layout. Hope everyone enjoyed the festival! (books are heavy, who knew!)

✍️ We do love a set of architectural drawings! 🪟 There’s so much going on behind the scenes this year and the addition of our secondary glazing is what we’re most excited about! ⚡️The improvements it’ll make to our energy efficiency will be clear to see! More updates coming.

Today the scenic Hatton Locks are on a stretch of waterway named the Grand Union Canal, but when opened in 1799 this was the Warwick & Birmingham Canal! ⛓ Built to carry coal for the industry in the Black Country, and as a vital trade link connecting London and Midlands. 🧵
