It’s HYROX race day and I’ve got my pal JR with me. Just going to fuel myself with candy this time and see what happens. 😂

This was *very* nearly real in 2022. Car, crew, tires, budget all there. IndyCar engine dev ultimately too heavy a lift (due to lack of intercooling). Sourced an alt engine solution for ‘23 that would have been even more badass. 1 of IndyCar’s major partners vetoed. Stalemate.

Spent the last few days in Detroit. What a great city. Music, coffee, food, cars, attitude… travel all the time, go all over, but it just doesn’t happen that often that a place has such a distinct vibe across the board. And I’m into it.
