I am gobsmacked we haven’t gone BIG on energy efficiency plus micro-gen & storage on pure energy/national security grounds. Alongside utility scale indigenous renewables (yes solar + onshore wind) & storage, we could avoid next energy crisis. Yet we ring-fence military funding?
