First voted by the IM residents as Fellow of the Year, then recognized by the School of Medicine for her professionalism. You want to train with someone like Becky - she raises the bar of excellence more than any physician I know. Best co-fellow ✨😭😍 #LungLadies

10 years at UCD - from faculty willing to take the pager so I could fly home for a funeral, to the cofellow who saw how sleep-deprived I was while writing my first grant on micu, to this family who made the ICU feel less lonely during a pandemic. So proud & grateful. UC Davis Pulmonary & Critical Care

Gisli Jenkins @LungDrE Leticia Kawano-Dourado (I'm on BlueSky/LinkedIn) Pilar Rivera-Ortega Wendy Adams Olivia leavy Bibek Gooptu Bruno Crestani Joshua Solomon, MD Louise V Wain @PhilippeDieude Agree. immunosuppression may be effective for subsets of patients, we just need to be able to reliably identify them. Our data suggests that short LTL are on the other end of the spectrum and may be harmed by immunosuppressants.

Shout out to Chinh Phan, DO & the UC Davis Pulmonary & Critical Care Interventional Pulmonolgy team. Recently, Dr. Phan shared with us that they've successfully performed 100+ ION robotic-assisted bronchoscopies. Here's what this means: 🧵

Hotel California came on the car radio and my husband started talking over the guitar solo. Anyway, I hope someone picks him up from the side of the road where I left him.

In one of the final sessions of #ATS2023 Justin Oldham from University of Michigan presents really cool data on: “Proteomic determinants of IPF survival” Findings from this study identify proteins with prognostic value as well as risk for substantial lung function diminution.
