JOVAN GILL GLIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 1B Jovan Gill has been named the GLIAC Player of the Week for the second time this season. Gill hit .471 (8-17) with 6R, 9RBI, 2 2B and 2 HR as GVSU swept a 4-game series with Gannon. Gill closed out game 4 on the mound with a scoreless 9th.

GVSU Baseball lands 30 with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or better, including 10 with a 3.5 or better. 22 named Academic All-GLIAC and 9 earn Academic Excellence plaudits. Team finished 43-14 and hosted an NCAA Midwest Regional for the 1st time since 2006.
