NUH Critical Care🏳️‍🌈 have provided each area critical care area with a Ramadan box. This fantastic idea came from Anila, a member of our team to help support staff who may find it difficult to break their fast within a busy clinical shift. Thanks to Nottingham Hospitals Charity for the support ❤️

A new artwork in Nottingham, pays tribute to organ donors & their families. A sculptural heart with wildflowers, butterflies, and bees symbolises how donation touches so many lives. 💖🦋🌸 Feel very honoured to be part of this project! bit.ly/3FjWjCG

As #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek comes to a close, I want to thank Helen Wilson and adriece for their leadership of the Neurodiversity staff network at Nottingham University Hospitals. This new network already has a significant membership and I look forward to seeing it grow further.

We’re celebrating the 400th successful daycase joint replacement at NUH. Thanks to our expert teams, patients can now have hip & knee replacements and return home the same day. Highlighting our commitment to providing high-quality care while improving patient outcomes.

After a life-changing accident left Carla paralysed just weeks before her wedding, she and fiancé Craig still tied the knot on their planned date at QMC. With support from NUH Charity, ward staff and loved ones, their wedding became a powerful symbol of resilience and devotion.

An absolute pleasure to present Fred from Stroke NUH with his VIP Award. His nominator described him as a ‘gift to NUH’. They’re not wrong! Took the opportunity to visit our leading stroke unit with Ward Manager Vicky Jones. Very impressed with the focus on staff recognition.

A fantastic achievement made possible by a ‘one team’ approach from colleagues across Nottingham University Hospitals. More to do, but important we recognise the improvements and showcase the work of staff to improve patient safety and experience. Onwards and upwards… nuh.nhs.uk/news/nottingha…
