Let me try explaining this using a simple analysis by Bloomberg that shows why eliminating the EV credit would be bad for $TSLA stock. With the current $7,500 EV credit, 2030 US industry EV volume could be 17M x 48% = 8.2M units per year (17M is current US industry S.A.A.R.).
