Was on the Oakley Beat of the River Test recently and found this old ginger beer bottle in the river from 1902 perhaps F.M. Halford, the "father of modern dry fly fishing" took a sip from it.

Thanks to Fotospeed for sending my prints ready for this weekends Global Birdfair I've got a selection of species and not just birds!

One feature I really wanted in my latest book was a tick list at the back so people can mark species of fish they have caught/seen

Recently photographed two of the dragonet species we have in the UK these are both females which are tricky to tell apart without counting dorsal rays and feeling the gills for spines but the males of these fish are very distinct and have amazing breeding colours.
