Behavioural effects of contaminants are almost always tested in social isolation, even though many species live in groups in the wild. 1/2. New paper led by Jake M Martin investigating effects of a common androgenic pollutant on tadpoles. In contrast to other taxa, early life exposure had no effect on tadpole body size, metabolic rate, or behaviour (but did affect condition). sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
