One of the worrying things about the ongoing Windrush Scandal, and there are many, is that this Home Office, like the last, seems scared to engage with people who understand the schemes and who work with large numbers of those affected so have the information and evidence of the

I live in a country that gives military support to another country which is killing thousands of civilians while proscribing an organisation which protests about it.

You may need to read this twice such is the extent of the data, but you must read this excellent analysis debunking recent headlines suggesting that migrants who arrive across the Channel, are 24 times more likely to go to prison than Brits.

Irene Mbugua was a mum-of-4 from Kenya who came to the UK to do care work. Sadly she was found dead at the Birmingham home of one of her clients. He's been charged with her murder. I only found out about this on Facebook as her killing has had little publicity. May she RIP ❤️🙏🏾

The number of people dying before getting compensation is increasing amongst Windrush victims too. The primary cohort are elderly & with claimants seeking reviews of initial offers, rightly so, claims can take 2/3 years & even longer. #WindrushScandal thetimes.com/uk/law/article…

I’ve never seen a more British arrest video in my life, such sarcastic stoicism in the face of it all. Surreal. The man being arrested is Tim Crosland, a former government lawyer.

A man has been arrested after portraits honouring the Windrush generation were vandalised in Brixton. The Met police says that the incident is not being treated as a hate crime. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

This should be treated as a hate crime and prevented from happening by Police Service NI There is no question in my mind - in the wake of the violence we have seen against asylum seekers - that this is incitement.

What does 'from next year, 2 million immigrants could automatically claim British citizenship' actually mean? In 2024, 270,000 applied for citizenship (202,041 in 2023). Those eligible tend to apply. Is Ms Badenoch referring to one year, accumulating years, or out to confuse?

I reported on the first known Afghan data breach back in August 2022. Now the British government has put a hundred thousand people's lives at risk. Unimaginable that this would turn out to be on such a scale. theguardian.com/politics/2022/…

Chap on LBC (Universal Credit story) just said he can't get a job (in the UK) as a 'binman' as the Ukranians have taken all the jobs. Initially he said he couldn't get a job because of the war in Europe but didn't seem to know where this war was until prompted by the presenter.
