Great first day in Porto visiting the CIIMAR-UP and BIOPOLIS-CIBIO research centers as part of a COST funded short-term scientific mission, centered around the conservation of freshwater mussels.

Back in the UK now after my COST research trip investigating the effects of climate change on freshwater mussel distribution and gene expression. Massive thanks to Dr Manuel Lopes-Lima and his team from CIIMAR-UP BIOPOLIS-CIBIO for the fantastic experience!
