Support plans. I’m not saying NEVER use them. I’m saying we need to normalise teachers feeling confident that they can ask for and receive support without judgement, meaning such plans are unlikely to be needed. Also that they aren’t carried around as a label indefinitely.

When you say it's okay to respond however you wish to something like this on social media, remember this. We need to guard the wellbeing of ALL indeed in education, even if we disagree.

The best teachers don’t solely come from Russell Group universities. Some cracking ones absolutely do.

The alternatives are simple and cruel - we can have peace or we can have domination, not both. We can’t hope to keep other people in conditions we wouldn’t accept and expect them to tolerate the distinction.

My strongest objection to this is actually the "yet". It's all silly, obvs, but you can't be a very good philosopher if you do not realise your first propositions make your latter one a corollary rather than a surprise.
