BREAKING NEWS: The 2021 #NobelPrize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded jointly to David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian “for their discoveries of receptors for temperature and touch.”

The last pumpkin I carved was in 2013. I carved a neuron with vesicles due to the Nobel prize being awarded to vesicle machinery. This year, I just had to carve TRPV1 and PIEZOs, in honor of @DJuliusSF and Ardem Patapoutian!
