1/3 How can Q1 journals publish reviews like this?? pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39868742/ The title is completely misleading when considering the comparator was steroid in most 'high dose' PRP studies. AND, this is never mentioned in the limitations!! We need to do better AOSSM Journals

2/3 in a recent piece in JSAMS, John Orchard showed PRP is better than CSI if you look longer term (of course it is because people get worse again in the long term with steroid) sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Our latest study Science Immunology identifies the molecular determinants of cross-reactive B35/NP418-restricted CD8+ T cells across IAVs from 1918 H1N1 to 2024 H5N1, and assesses their functionality. Katherine Kedzierska Rossjohn lab science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Researchers in Science #Immunology have identified CD8+ T cells from human donors that can recognize naturally occurring influenza variants spanning more than 100 years, including the 1918 influenza A and 2024 #H5N1. Prof. Jamie Rossjohn Kedzierska Lab scim.ag/4hpSzh1

LCK-mutant mice help define the role of LCK–co-receptor association in T cell development and immune responses Science Immunology 💮Nicole La Gruta Pirooz Zareie Prof. Jamie Rossjohn Rossjohn lab science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

A new study in mice shows that associations between LCK and #Tcell coreceptors ensures fidelity of MHCI- and MHCII-restricted T cells to #CD8 and #CD4 lineages, respectively. Prof. Jamie Rossjohn Pirooz Zareie 💮Nicole La Gruta scim.ag/4k8yBcj

Mitochondria produce nucleobase ligands for T cells. Our recent paper was published today in PNAS. Prof. Jamie Rossjohn Prof. Jamie Rossjohn Mitochondria regulate MR1 protein expression and produce self-metabolites that activate MR1-restricted T cells pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…

In collaboration with Moody lab, latest paper from Rossjohn lab describing the structure of a lipopeptide bound to a MHC-I like molecule found in chickens - hopefully this study will not ruffle too many feathers.
