As part of one of our conservation projects, we carried out a stone cleaning trial using the #gommage system by Thomann-Hanry. This system is a non-abrasive system using ultrafine dry particles of aluminium silicate and uses much less water when compared with other systems.

It's not every day you get to explore such a cool Victorian attic. We were at East Oxford Community Centre yesterday reviewing progress and explored the space to finalise insulation requirements. working with ODS to deliver for Oxford City Council

It’s great to see the completion of this socially rented home in Northway, Oxford. We’ve added a large 2 storey extension to add 2 bedrooms, helping fulfil @oxfordcitycouncil ‘s need for more larger council houses. Working with OX Place and ODS .

Tahima had a great time on @SPAB1877 ’s ‘Surveying Traditional constructed buildings’ course at Hardwick Hall ( Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill ), interesting lectures and talks including from Alan Gardner (National Trust ‘s senior building conservation manager).

Roken House in Lake Street has been modernised and a new flat created. The development now has 9 flats.

Checking historic drawings to understand the history and significance of a building is part of our tasks as Heritage Consultants. And it is also incredibly fun, at least for Aline, who was at Harris Manchester College Archive this week #conservation #heritage #listedbuildings
