What an amazing look back to the Coronation Fleet Review in 1953. HM Queen Elizabeth II, on HMS Surprise, sailed through the lines of ships followed by a fly-past of 300 aircraft. ⚓️ 🇬🇧

How splendid! Always love watching the Garter Day procession - one of the most traditional ceremonies in the Royal calendar, celebrating tradition, service and duty.

A small fragment of what is believed to be part of the V-1 flying bomb that hit The Royal Military Chapel in London in June 1944, killing 121 people. It was donated to ⁦The Guards Museum⁩ during the last century & is not on public display. ⁦The Royal Military Chapel (The Guards' Chapel)

I respect the right to protest, but this was misguided. These aircraft are incompatible with Israeli fighter aircraft (you knew that right?); but, they are critical for non-combatant evacuation missions. You just made Brits around the World less safe. Not feeling so clever now?
