Hungary supports a merit based, balanced and credible EU enlargement policy. North Macedonia applied for EU membership in 2004, negotiations started in 2022. Today I have ensured Orhan Murtezani that Hungary supports North Macedonia in its path to the European Union.

🇭🇺🤝🏻🇸🇰 Hungary and Slovakia share the same position on several issues in Brussels, and together we are advocating the need for change on these issues. Today I had a meeting with Marek Eštok.


🤔 Problem: Businesses in Europe pay twice as much for electricity and four to five times as much for natural gas compared to their US competitors. 🤦🏼♂️ The European Commission's solution: Phasing out the cheapest sources of natural gas, oil, and nuclear energy in Europe.
