An excellent initiative, making a huge difference. HORRIFIED by the Islamophobia in the comments, so much so that they needed to be switched off. Really sad and heartbreaking. Society now feels comfortable to attack children for their faith and colour openly. Awful!

Yesterday Julia travelled up to Westminster to address the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ofsted and School Inspection. Once again, it is heartening to know that there are MPs who value our perspective on Ofsted. Here is Julia’s powerful speech, it was very well received:

Always a sensible& accurate read from Edmund Barnett-Ward Unfortunately it’s not what you know but who you know in Education. As for MATs, there are stories I’m sure many of us could recount that would make the wind howl!

When we embarked on thealternativebiglisten.co.uk we wanted to give everyone the chance to speak truth to power. We were concerned with the direction Ofsted was taking and felt they weren't taking sufficient regard for the points made by many of the genuine dangers faced by many.
