Meanwhile the 43% of those who attended digital theater in 2020-2021 who never have gone to an actual theater venue… they are still out there, waiting to participate. Additions to the community. That’s the research I want in academia. Develop the form. Expand the field.

As Trump dissolves leadership in in-person venues like Kennedy Center… it makes me wonder, “if only we had the means to bypass in-person performance to create venue-less digital performances that can’t be overtaken so easily.” 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
