Sure, the Tigers were 16-12 through 28 games last year and 18-10 through the same amount this year. Despite the similarity, this year's team doesn't seem capable of a May collapse -- it just feels different. And how 'bout Baez?!

Pistons had only 32 points in the paint in Game 4. It's in the third quarter and they have 26 already. Let's keep getting to the hoop!

The losses in this series for the Pistons have all been winnable games for them. Despite losing another double-digit lead in the second half tonight, they finished in crunch time and kept the season alive. Still a hole to climb out of, but it's not out of the question.

Those losses were all winnable games by the Pistons. Didn’t have anyone capable of making the big play down the stretch. Those players are never going to forget this series.

12:37 am last night I get a text from Golke. “Coach, you’re not going to believe what I just sent you”. He was right. I don’t. I think it’s AI. Has to be AI.

Palencia gave up a hard hit ball that was a ground-rule double but idiotically pointed to the air like it was a routine flyout. Proceeds to have a four-pitch walk and then blows the game. Cubs relief pitching is just not as clutch as it needs to be.

Good for Skubal. I can’t imagine how bad he wanted to face Cleveland again. He goes the distance and strikes out the final batter with a 103 heater. That had to feel awesome.
