Ready for an exciting next few days World Health Summit with the World Health Organization (WHO) in #Berlin. Interesting first session this morning on the Europe beating Cancer plan. Heard from WHO/Europe Dr Nino Berdzuli, Her Excellency Monica Geingos and Stella Kyriakides from the European Commission #WHS2022


Enjoyed hearing a keynote from Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus World Health Summit on the current cost of living crisis and health.âNo family should have to choose between buying food, heat homes or afford healthcareâ. The Health Team @ Policy Connect is looking forward to explore further work in this area. #WHS2022


Great to see the appointment of the LacksFamily as World Health Organization (WHO) goodwill ambassadors by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus World Health Summit ,to eliminate cervical cancer. Health Team @ Policy Connect will be further exploring womenâs health on the 23rd November at our parliamentary roundtable on the #Womenshealthstrategy


Wrapping up World Health Summit day 1 with a keynote from German chancellor Olaf Scholz pledging âŹ35 million and Gates Foundation $1.2billion towards the Global eradication of #Polio which we have almost reached.Looking forward to hearing more on #Globalhealth plan in the next days


Day 2 World Health Summit done. I personally enjoyed hearing from Germanyâs Health Minister Prof. Karl Lauterbach , Assistant Director general World Health Organization (WHO) Chikwe Ihekweazu and NCDC Centre of Disease control Elsie Ilori Looking forward to what the final day brings tomorrow.


Great to see Transforming health and care and NHS England represented World Health Summit .National Director of Transformation Dr. Tim Ferris spoke on Data and Digital transformation.
