A1-Monitoring the off task use of tech in the classroom as well as the hidden mass comms by Ss is a challenge for school staff. #oklaed

A4: I like the potential that problem solving STEM lessons have to create cognitive dissonance within Ss. #oklaed

A1- Rigor is intentionally creating moments of cognitive dissonance within lessons. #oklaed

A2 - Rigor is not simply more work, homework, restriction, inflexibility, etc... #oklaed

A3- building conceptual frameworks and acquiring deep learning looks different for learners. So yes. #oklaed

A4- Teachable moments often present themselves when Ss are operating in the metacognitive. That’s where the learning really happens. #oklaed

A6- Understanding how people learn is complex and largely misunderstood by many educators. So we should all be “rigorously” digging into that. #oklaed

A7- I think all courses should use sound pedagogy. I lean heavily towards allowing anyone that wants to join advanced coursework to do so. #oklaed

A7b- I also have concerns around the bias of entrance exams and T recommendations for many programs. #oklaed
