Powerful day WIU07 hosting the FIRST county-wide reading specialist job alike. 65 specialists attended the event that included structured networking, research sharing, problem solving and a dyslexia panel discussion. Couldn’t be more proud!

I have the pleasure and honor to present PaTTAN Secondary Literacy Summit in Harrisburg on May 29. I’ll be sharing research on reading comprehension strategy instruction, background knowledge and cognitive load with struggling readers in grades 3-12.
