This is the face of a man who climbed the ladder of affirmative action to his present perch of power only to help destroy the very ladder on which he ascended. This is not only the mark of deep ingratitude & disavowal of history, but a withering betrayal of justice & democracy.

Dealing with the continued attacks on Black bodies is exhausting. Im too close to it at the hospital, seeing it one by one with my patients. Then also seeing the broader systemic policy that allows it to fester and thrive.

Since it is clear some of these spaces werent meant for us and they clearly dont want us, is it time for us to start focusing on continuing to build the spaces that were built for us…#foodforthought

I will always be grateful for my ivy league degree and medical training but it is EXHAUSTING being in these spaces as a young Black woman. Constantly fighting to show why you deserve to be here, why others that look like you deserve to train here.
