🙏🏻🙏🏻😮‍💨😮‍💨 The last few days have been NERVE WRECKING for those of us who live in border states. This is such a relief. May peace always prevail.

This wait time is the bane of my existence 😅🤣 If you know - you know!!!

My #insulin sensitivity has been SO good that I’m perpetually in a double arrow down state ⬇️⬇️ Just because I work out everyday - it feels like my body is punishing me 🤣🤣 All jokes apart - the beauty of regular consistent workouts for your ISF is real and I’m glad for it😇

So story time.. I was getting consistent headaches for a week So I did the natural thing and googled an ophthalmologist near me. Found one 3 minutes away and got way too excited and booked Turns out she was a peads doc 🤣😇 I got my eyes tested - and a lollipop 🤣 and new 🤓

Okay.. so since I set up #loop on a new phone - I had to re-input all my #basal settings. My dumb ass brain put my night time basal as .05 instead of 0.50 Yea.. you would think I would be better since living with #T1D for 16 years.. but nope!

Just a reminder for all those at the back: As people with #Type1Diabetes: We don’t need pity. We need policies. That’s it. That’s the tweet.

Alright folks - it’s that time of the year where I become blurry eyed for 4 hours and pray that my retina is normal! Wish me luck! #Fundus check day! 🤓
