A joy to reconnect with some of the Hospice Africa Ug and Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care in Africa at the African palliative care Association conference in Botswana APCA . I spent time with them 2 years ago. The conference was bitter sweet as Government of Ireland announced an award in the late Dr Anne's name.

Happy #WorldHospiceAndPalliativeCareDay. What if we in High Income Countries reclaimed dying? Even more important, what if #PalliativeCare was available to more than 4% of people in low & middle income countries? #Justice #UniversalHealthcare #WHPCDay25

What’s happening in El Fasher, Sudan, is pure horror. It’s not war—it’s terror. Innocent people are being killed, hospitals are being attacked, and children are being starved. The world must not look away. We must demand a ceasefire, access to aid, and justice, now.
