No Meg Hillier. The most vulnerable people will not be protected. It's not a good deal. It remains a car-crash of an omnishambles, now with an added layer of complicating inequitable fustercluckery. A fine mess they could have avoided if they'd consulted disabled people before

For the avoidance of doubt 1)PIPis not an out of work benefit 2)ironically,many need support of PIP to be able to work 3)the The Labour Party knows this fine but pretends otherwise &4)the rumored concessions create a 2 tier system to placate Labour MPs. Utterly shameless, utterly wrong

“Creating a two-tier system where younger disabled people & those who become disabled in the future will be disadvantaged & denied access to work & education, is morally wrong,”says Sharon Graham 6000 disabled members Glasgow Disability Alliance agree- this is divisive and unfair. #ScrapTheBill

Urging MPs to vote against disability benefit cuts, Andy Burnham calls the government’s concessions “half a u-turn”. “[It] simply can’t be justified to make disabled people your target. Certainly not when you haven’t put out an impact assessment.” He’s right.

“It speaks volumes that Scottish Labour MPs are marking a year in power by pushing 150,000 disabled people into poverty. “Voters were promised change but instead they’re getting austerity cuts that even the Tories didn’t dare impose." Kirsty Blackman dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/…

Thank you Robin Swann MP for highlighting another failure of The Labour Party government’s bill in ignoring the situation for young people transitioning to adulthood deserving all the opportunities we can offer who will be denied the vital financial support they need.
