Here are my two cents. 1. As a child who attended conferences I would have preferred a playroom rather than talks on theoretical physics. 2. As a mom who missed many meetings: childcare is a must for a conference that wants to be inclusive. and see my point 3 next.

and... 3. As a conference chair: I have to say that it is hard to fundraise for childcare support and more philantropy in this area would be a game changer.
