Before today, going back to 1893, there was one (1) prior instance of 11" of rain in a calendar day in #BurnetCounty. There have been at least eight (8) today. These 6, plus 17.5" so far today at the LCRA site 8SSW of Bertram. This flows into Cow's Creek in Travis County. #txwx

Floodgate operations from Lake Buchanan today. LCRA opened a total of four floodgates at Buchanan Dam on July 14 – the first floodgate operations there since May 2019. This coordinated response helps manage significant water inflows across the Highland Lakes system.
