STILL closed? 100's of miles of roads closed for 38 hours (still closed this morning)! Since closing them, we've received a few inches of new snow. Yesterday, most everything melted off, still closed. Who's making these decisions ADOT?

Day 1 & 2 on the road to Alaska I'm sitting in a huge wide open valley in Eastern Idaho in-between the Tetons and the Sawtooth Mountains in the middle of nowhere with my wife Angela and our kids Isabel, Olivia and Owen (and Addy our loyal dog). We loaded up our trusty backwoods

Made our way up through Montana and headed north to the Canadian border on day 4. Crossed at the Rooseville crossing. The border guard was very concerned if we had guns, ammo, ever carry guns etc. Also asked about pepper spray. No to all. We knew we had to leave our guns, knifes

11 days slogging through some of the most remote parts of North America and we made it to Alaska! More details to come but what a drive and adventure so far. AND wow, I have internet service again.
