The Lapalco Bridge over Bayou Segnette is currently closed due to a severe accident. Traffic is being diverted at Nicolle Blvd. on the west side and Tanglewood Dr. on the east side. The bridge will be closed for an extended period of time. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Because of cellular outages in the area, JPSO may not be receiving all 911 calls.  Anyone unable to get through should call 504-227-1400. The outage is not within our system, and our 911 call takers and dispatchers are ready to send deputies to wherever they are needed.
